Every day, 70,000 new blogs appear on the Internet, according to search engine Technorati.
Yet few of them emerge from the cubicles and plush corner offices of large public companies. Indeed, a recently established list by Socialtext of FORTUNE 500 company blogs shows that only about 5 percent of the country’s corporate giants have dipped their toes in this medium.
