Research ::
News International published Times and Sunday Times newspapers are preparing to go behind a paywall – with readers having to register this month to access contnet and pay next month. Hitwise has analysed the latest data which is showing a decline in readers – albeit a small decline – though this even before payment is required.
There have been a shift to the other publishers – and The Times has suffered – the title’s market share has dropped from 4.37% during the week ending May 22nd 2010 to 2.67% last week (w/e June 19th 2010).
What will happen when the paywall is instigated?

Google however decides to overlay hotspots onto its own data set, stealing personal confidential information along the way and breaking laws across a number of countries.

Experiential ::
Remember the thrill of an icream as a kid? Well at Cannes yesterday, Unilever released details if their latest project - an interactive vending machine with face recognition and bluetooth technology built in. As for the ROI on the icepop, anyones guess.

Anthropology ::
Forbes have analysed the migration of people across the US – and created an interactive map to show where the more than 10 million Americans moved to – from one county to another during 2008.

Dulux has created the Let’s Colour Project – a worldwide initiative to {paint the walls with Dulux – no} transform our dull inner city environment with vibrant colour.
The idea is for local communities to get together – and hopefully paint out graffiti – and this directors cut shows the results in Jodhpur, Rio de Janeiro, Paris and London.
